On a cold November morning in Michigan in 1971 a little baby boy started his life with a bang. Hismother, sensing immense greatness, dubbed him Skinniman Dammit. Growing up in suburban Detroit, he was raised by the blood, sweat and tears of his parents, and by their unfortunate taste in music. Once he was old enough to choose his own musical taste, he promptly shook off the Barry Manilows and the Jimmy Buffets and gravitated towards the only clear choice.......Hip Hop in the 1980's.

One thing led to another, and much to his parents disappointment, he was soon destroying microphones on Detroit stages regularly. Hip Hop dominated his whole life, and the art of sampling opened his eyes to sonic treats previously unknown to him. Soon he was just as immersed in jazz, reggae, rock, electronic, and every other genre available to him. Even a few country joints.

Since leaving Michigan in 1994, he has lived in Atlanta, Brooklyn, San Francisco, Oakland, and currently resides in the desert in Lake L.A. California. Having left the emcee game behind him, he has spent the last few years reinventing himself musically and morphing into something no genre can claim. His love of music grows stronger with every passing day, and more and more, he realizes that these artists that he has loved for so long have helped make him who he is today. This show known as AudioScience was born when he realized how much he enjoys sharing his favorite songs and influences with others.
