Originating from California, DJ Ausar, now Atlanta based, has emerged as an impressive tastemaker as a DJ on 89.3WRFG FM.  His vehicle for social movement, The Kalakuta Show (tuesdays 2-4pm est. www.wrfg.org), blends Afro-beat, Funk, Jazz, Rare Grooves, House and Broken beats from all over the world. When He’s not Djing or Producing, He’s coordinating Radio Promotions for Ocha Records as well as Music Supervision and Sound Engineering for Parallel Film Collective. Dj Ausar has spun across the U.S. alongside the likes of The Last Poets, Hugh Masekela, Fertile Ground, Dj Spinna, Dego of 4hero, Jeremy Ayro Ellis, Djinji Brown, Carlos Mena, Omar, Roy Ayers, John Arnold, Omar, Rich Medina, Roy Ayers, Lou Gorbea, Rafael Moraes( Nomumbah) and Daz-I-Kue of Bugz in the Attic.
